Fund - Raising Events/Charities

We regularly hold fund - raising events to cover the costs required to run Girl’s brigade. The money raised goes towards outings, craft work requirements, uniform, insurance fees, books and stationery etc.
We have held cake stalls outside Boots in the market place, coffee mornings, mile of pennies, jumble sales, bric-a-brac sales, displays, and the dreaded sponsored events etc.
We usually try to support a charity each year. These have included the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, the Wishing Well Appeal for Great Ormond Street, St Claire Hospice, Wood Green Animal Shelter, FSID, NCH Action for Children, NSPCC, Breast Cancer Care, National Canine Defence League and Neurofibromatosis.

Late Night Shopping Stall

We usually book a stall in the town on late night shopping evening to try to raise money for our own funds.
